Your ★ Beauty,
Appearance,
Emi's hair is impossibly straight, cut with a razor blade into stylish layers that hang down to the middle of her back. Her bangs are side-swept across her forehead and over her right eye. It’s silky smooth, just like her father’s gorgeous locks. One thing that she didn't inherit from her parents are her eyes; a pretty hazel framed by thick lashes and black eyeliner.
She has a thin, pale face with nicely manicured eyebrows [she's very OCD about her appearance and will spend her mornings making sure that there's no stray hair out of place]. Her eyes are small [not in a deformed way, or anything!] with purple bruising perpetually lining the bottom rims due to her insomnia. Her lips are full and pale pink.
She wears whatever the hell she feels like. She prefers to wear tight skinny jeans and cute blouses. However, if it's a lazy day and she hasn't slept in quite a while [which is common] then she'll toss on her jeans and a random band t-shirt. Emi likes to look cute while also still being comfortable in her clothing.

OVERALL PERSONALITY
She likes to drink and party, a way to numb herself from the inner turmoil that plagues her subconscious, she figures that if she’s drunk it’ll be easier for her to forget—if only just for one night. Emi tries to distance herself from having any real ties to people, she doesn’t want to hurt anyone and therefore most of her relationships don’t last very long, maybe a week or two at most. While she doesn’t like to get very close to people, she’ll still stop and help someone in need if she thinks that they can’t help themselves.
Emi is terrified of becoming the very same monster that ravaged her family all those years ago. She doesn’t want to be responsible for the death of someone’s loved ones, even though she doesn’t have much control over the abomination that she transforms into every full moon.
She’s exceedingly loyal, if you’re lucky enough to have her on your side then you’re golden. While she tries [and more often than not succeeds] at keeping others at a distance sometimes she can’t help but to let someone in to quench the aching loneliness that she feels. If she makes a promise she’ll do everything in her power to keep it.[/ul]
Background ★ Info,
History,
When she was seven years old her little sister Annaliese was born, bringing out the jealous side of Emi, however after a few years of living with the hyperactive baby she began to treat Anna more like a sister and less like an annoying parasite that leeched off her family. She’d play songs on the piano for her little sister and Anna began to depend on her to sing her lullabies to help her get to sleep.
On the eve of her 14th birthday Emi’s parents, along with 7 year old Anna, went down to the coastline for a picnic and a nice stroll along the shoreline. By the time they were ready to go home the moon was full and bright, clinging to the dark star-studded sky like a beacon in the night, guiding weary travelers safely back home.
The night had been absolutely beautiful, warm and inviting, as they walked along the coast of the Mediterranean Sea. It was the howl, that lone, vengeful sound that pulled them away from their peaceful conversation to stare ahead of them—further down the shore a strange creature greeted them with glowing yellow eyes and ferocious ivory fangs. It looked to be some sort of mutated animal, canine in appearance, however it seemed somewhat bi-pedal, hunched over and vicious.
Thierry called out for Cerise to run with the children while he distracted the beast.
That was their first mistake.
If they had took a moment to think the situation over for a moment they would have realized that running only instigated an animalistic frenzy with wild creatures such as—whatever it was that the ferocious canine-like being was.
Their second mistake was thinking that they could ever outrun a werewolf and escape unharmed.
Thierry went down quickly in a sickening flurry of torn flesh and splattered crimson. Cerise let out an anguished cry at the loss of her husband, her best friend, her lover. But she knew that it was now up to her to protect her two children from the feral beast that was preying on them like a lion would a gazelle.
A light in the distance; hope. Cerise spotted a beachside house and directed her daughters to run as fast as they possibly could toward it.
“Don’t look back, no matter what! Just keep running!” Cerise demanded, Anna and Emi promised their mother that no matter what they wouldn’t turn to see what was happening behind them.
The presence of their mother urging them forward faded quickly and Emi was tempted more so than ever to cast a glance over her shoulder—but she didn’t want to break the promise she had made with her mother. Grabbing Anna’s hand she darted forward with a burst of adrenalin, dragging her little sister along with her.
Little Anna’s hand slipped from her grip as the child tripped over her untied shoelaces, crying out as she fell to the ground. Emi skidded to a halt, tumbling over her own feet from the abrupt stop, and turned around just in time to see the terrifying creature looming over her baby sister. A burst of courage coursed through her and she leapt forward to protect her sister from the beast’s attack.
Pain. Emi had never felt such excruciating pain in her entire life! Anna’s cries fell on deaf ears, the only sounds that Emi could hear were the pulsing of the blood in her ears and the pounding of her own heartbeat in response to what was happening to her. She was going to die. She thought she was a goner. But the creature’s head shot up, his long canines stained crimson from not only her mother and father’s blood—but her’s as well. A gunshot rang out.
The house they had been running desperately towards illuminated brightly against the still darkness, the front door now open and two men hurried outside with shotguns aimed at the beast. Knowing it was a losing battle, it ran off down the shoreline, disappearing into the night and leaving behind him a trail of bloody pawprints in the sand and a broken family.
Emi was rushed to the nearest hospital and patched up. She had lost a lot of blood and required a transfusion if she had any hope of surviving, not to mention the large amount of antiseptics that were pumped through her to get rid of any possibility of infection from the animal’s bite.
Without their parents around, the two girls were sent to their Grandparents’ house in Amsterdam, NY who were next in line for guardianship over the two sisters. Things seemed fine and dandy for a few weeks…until the next full moon. Emi could feel the changes in her body, the heightened senses, the short temper, the quickened pulse. When night fell she made sure that she was as far away from her grandparents house as she could get….and she transformed.
For the next 3 years she lived there, keeping her transformations a secret from her family and hiding out deep in the forest—miles away from the city—during the full moon. A few months into her 17th year of living she had a close call….her instincts had brought her back to the suburb where she lived with her grandparents…and her sister had been out in the garden in the backyard, playing with her dolls. Emi didn’t have much control over what the creature she transformed into did during the full moon, all she could do was watch from the sidelines as it made a beeline for the innocent 10 year old.
Luckily, Annaliese spotted it before she heard the heavy footfalls and ran inside before any damage could be dealt. After that night Emi left home, deciding that she’d rather live away from her sister than risk putting her in any more danger. She moved to Saint Calais and got a part-time job and an apartment, where she currently resides.
A month and a half ago she woke up after a full moon in an unfamiliar place--something not uncommon for a lycan--but she wasn't alone. A representative of the Lupine Brotherhood had found her and explained to her the object of the LB and asked her if she'd like to join. Emi hesitated at first but then she accepted the offer, deciding that if they could help her then maybe one day she could control her transformations if only a little bit so that she wouldn't be a danger to society.
★Circumstances of Transformation/Discovery: In history
★Circumstances of Faction Initiation: She wants to learn more about her affliction so that one day she might be able to control the beast she transforms into and therefore will be able to ensure the safety of others.
