This sprawling graveyard is open to the public to allow them to pay their respects at any time of day, and the graves themselves vary in style and size, from modest unmarked gravestones to entire marble mausoleums. The grounds are well maintained by the church's clergy.

Cathedral of Saint Paul
Though not as large and as opulent as its European counterparts, Calais' cathedral of Saint Paul is no less beautiful and reverent in its traditional Gothic design and architecture. Aside from having its own private primary and secondary school, the church offers the usual services: daily and Sunday mass; charities and food cabinets; and matrimony, funeral, and confessional services. Adjacent to the church is a beautifully maintained graveyard that sprawls over some three city blocks.
