[/color] Tobias stands at six feet, four inches tall at weighs right at one hundred and eighty pounds. He has a very recognizable face and features. His nose and chin are very sharp looking and his jaw bones are very pronounced. His eyes are a brownish green color, and are very small, but the right eye is slightly larger than the left eye.

Because of his age, there are some wrinkles that are beginning to set in, specifically smile lines around his mouth and crow’s feet around his eyes. Tobias’s hair is a very dark brown that is often mistaken for being black. He can get very lazy about keeping his hair trimmed, so it is sometimes longer than it should be. However, when he does get it trimmed, he likes it to be rather short, so the less he has to worry about it. Tobias is a very built man and his torso is almost a triangle shape.

Tobias isn’t exactly a fashion guru, so he doesn’t exactly have very good sense in what to wear. He never has a reason to get too dressed up, so he doesn’t even own a tuxedo and he only has one suit that never gets used. His wardrobe consist of T-shirts, jeans, flannel button up shirts, jackets and sweatshirts.

OVERALL PERSONALITY

[/color] Before the kidnapping and experiment, Tobias was very meek and insecure. He often didn’t have a very high self esteem and obviously didn’t think very much of himself. However, he was very happy with his life. He had a loving family and was married to the love of his life. He wasn’t perfect, but he felt that he had the perfect life. However, after the experiment, Tobias’s personality changed quite a bit. He never figured out if this was a direct result of what happened to him, or if it was because of the events that were connected with the experiment. The main points of Tobias’s personality stayed the same, like his love of animals, cars and his overall caring nature.

Tobias has become rather anti-social in the sense that he hates parties, social gatherings and anything or anywhere with large crowds. This doesn’t mean that he is unfriendly, though.

When there is someone that needs to vent or needs advice, Tobias will gladly lend an ear to those in need of one. On the other hand, though, he never lets people into his life because of what has happened to him in the past. If he did happen to let someone know him personally, it would be very rare and it would have to be someone very special.

Patience is definitely not a strong aspect of Tobias’s personality. Because of this, he often stays away from people or circumstances that will test his patience. This is one reason why he often stays away from children and over energetic people.

One part of his personality that people tend to look over is his kindness towards animals. This is one aspect of his personality that stayed the same throughout his life. He is often seen as odd, since he doesn’t only love the mammals, but he also adores reptiles, fish and birds. Animals show off a sweet side of him that is rarely seen. [/ul]

History,

[/color] Tobias Xavier Maddox. He was born to Jane and Xavier Maddox on October 17, 1968. Tobias was the first born to the Maddox family, the first being his older brother, Robert. Being three years younger, he idolized his brother. And that only increased when Robert began getting involved in sports. He seemed to be following his father’s footsteps, who had been an athlete his entire life, playing football, specifically, in high school and college. Tobias, on the other hand, was much more like his mother, who was very scholarly.

Tobias's time at school was a happy one. He was the happy person that everyone seemed to like to be around. However, throughout this time, he had to live in the shadow of his older brother, Robert. The older students and the majority of the teachers all assumed that Tobias would be just as good at sports as his brother, but that wasn't true at all. He was not good at any kind of sport, whatsoever. As stated before, he was much more of an intellectual than an athlete. When he was a junior in high school, he became friends with a young man named Jonathon Wilan. Wilan was what most people called 'a shady character.'

Tobias and Jonathon graduated high school together and got jobs that were close to each other. Both of them had no idea what they wanted to do, so they each settled for jobs in shops in the small village of Painswick, England. Tobias took a keeping job in a very small, local pet shop, under the cruel owner, but he didn't mind too much because he always had a soft spot for animals. However, he wasn't the only keeper there that loved animals. His only co-worker was a young lady named Laura Middleton and for Tobias, it was love at first sight. Being the shy guy he was, it took him quite some time to even work up the nerve to even ask her out on a date. By the time he was twenty, he had established a strong friendship with her and was finally brave enough to tell her how he felt about her. She agreed and they dated for three years. Their bond became so strong and intense that Tobias started to think about where it was going and what might happen if she, for some reason, left his life. So, he asked her to marry him and she happily agreed. While all of this was going on, Jonathon was getting deeper and deeper into trouble. He had taken a job at a pawn shop in the very bad part of the village, so he was very much in contact with underhanded type people. While he was working there, a man named Professor Urs Blainta, a self titled scientific genius, offered him a job and he took it.

Professor Blainta was a rather disturbed man that tried to mix science with supernatural. His favorite thing to do was to perform experiments and Jonathon's job was to find subjects for his experiments. It seemed that Jonathon had dug himself into something that he couldn't get out of. Professor Blainta was a horrible man who, on top of that, was involved with a Mafia type group. Jonathon was forced to find a subject for what Professor Blainta told him would be a very painful procedure. And on top of that, Jonathon was threatened by both the professor and the group, if he didn't do what the Professor wanted. Professor Blainta gave Jonathon very specific instructions as to what sort of subject would be best for this sort of experiment and Jonathon's mind went straight to his good friend, Tobias Maddoxx. So, Jonathon met up with Tobias, telling him that he had good news for him and something big to show him. He had tricked his best friend into going up to Professor Blainta's castle. Tobias was utterly confused, but then he was a very naive person. He was captured and taken down to the basement where the lab was.

As he was bolted down, the professor began the experiment.
The result was monstrous. Tobias's muscles had grown at least twice their original size. Every so often he would have flashbacks to things that he couldn’t remember experiencing. It caused him to feel weak and if he listened to it long enough, would cause him to lose consciousness. The Mafia group, however, over looked this and viewed him as an indestructible being (which was far from the truth) and worked to recruit him. Knowing how cruel and ruthless this particular group was, Tobias fought against them. However, as they had ‘created’ him, they knew how to get to him. His wife, Laura, who was then with child, was what they had used against him. They told him that if he did not join them, she would have to pay the price. Now, Tobias was twenty-seven and their love had only gotten stronger. He panicked, thinking what it would be like without her. But when he did not reply soon enough, they made the decision for him and Laura was no more.

Heartbroken and feeling out of place because of what Professor Blainta had done to him, he quit his job at the pet shop and still having no idea what he wanted to do, he went jobless for about a year. He arrived in Saint Calais to start somewhere new. Tobias came upon a small diner and only about a week later, he signed a rental contract with the owner. However, because of what happened to him, he had become slightly withdrawn and had built a wall that kept him from getting close with anyone else. This wasn’t to say that he was unfriendly; he just didn’t share things with a lot of people.
