Your ★ Beauty,
Appearance,
And then, once people notice her, there's the inevitable “how did I miss that?" Aya likes colors. Lots of colors. Colors that shouldn't necessarily be allowed to associate with one another. Her wardrobe could best be simulated by having Harajuku throw up on an American mall. While these days much of her clothes are bought in and around Saint Calais, her style has only changed marginally since her Harajuku days. She's kept her too-tall shoes (bringing her to almost normal-people height), her too-strange clothing (including the shirts that say things like “I want to hang to the World like a rainbow” and “Holiday, I rest floating the clover”), and her bleached hair. The latter, however, is in a perpetual state of “needs some upkeep” – her roots are rarely under an inch long, leaving a pool of black in the middle of the otherwise-platinum-blonde hair.
Under the makeup and bright colors and blinding hair, however, Aya's just a regular Japanese teenager: brown eyes, slender build, lacking in the height department. [/ul]

OVERALL PERSONALITY
Having grown up in the midst of the Harajuku music
Background ★ Info,
History,
Then, somehow, despite her grades and general educational mediocrity, Aya managed to get into a study-abroad exchange program with a high school in a little town in New York. New York! Big cities and cool music and excitement and...a little town in the middle of nowhere. But! At least it was a new place and new opportunities and...a principal with a serious attitude problem. Even with no school uniforms, no oppressive parents, and a whole new place to explore, Aya's school days in America were more frustrating than those in Japan. Perhaps it's fortunate, then, that they didn't last too long. It was only three or four months after she got off the plane that, following a “disagreement” with the school's principal (in which some very unkind words were said by both parties), Aya found herself kicked out of school. Her family, however, doesn't know this; to tell her father that she was out of school would almost certainly lead to Aya's being disowned by her family. As easy as it had been to cover up an evening's shopping trip with stories of a late-night study session, this lie doesn't sit well with Aya; she's just relieved that she's in her “last year of school” and won't have to make up classes to be struggling with anymore. For the time being, however, Aya jumps from part-time job to part-time job, making a little money (before ultimately being out of work again for one reason or another) and using her “tuition money” to rent a small studio apartment.
As frustrating as her life might be to anyone else, Aya loves it: she gets to spend her days the way she wants to, she has a place of her own, she's free from the tyranny of school, and she can spend all day with her music up as loud as she wants, since her neighbors on either side have day jobs and aren't home to complain.
★Circumstances of Transformation/Discovery: (n/a)
★Circumstances of Faction Initiation: Yet to happen, but: she overheard two people talking in a cafe (why do people always think that cafes are good meeting spots to discuss secret missions, anyway?) and decided to follow the one that had said he would “report back.” After following him around while he finished his errands (did anyone really need that many pairs of socks?) she was led to a conspicuously inconspicuous meeting spot. She wrote down the address so she could go back and talk to them after dinner; after all, if she could get the kind of job that involved secret meetings, chances were she'd be interested enough in her work to actually keep that job for more than a month and a half. She just hoped they didn't need to see her work history...
