[/color] Char has a small body type, though it is extremely deceitful. Even though she is a vampire she works out, so she has very defined muscles. She is small in stature, standing at five feet, three inches. Her weight is perfect for her size, which causes her to have a rather nice body. Also, she has beautiful bone structure, her face being rather angular. This is a result of her French-Russian background. She has long, curly blonde hair that frames her face. She has plump, light pink lips. Her eyes are framed by think lashes that never need the aid of mascara. She never got into using make-up. These eyes are such a light blue that in some lighting they look gray in color.
Charlize often has acrylic nails done in the French manicure style. It’s one of the many things she’s embraced with the modern world. In fact, in embracing the modern world she’s gone as far as getting a belly ring, which is a butterfly, and a tattoo on her lower stomach. This tattoo is a picture of a red rose. Her skin is pale white, but is smooth and unblemished except for a small scar on the right side of her neck, which was inflicted before she became a vampire. [/ul]

[/color] Charlize is a unique character. She is sweet, caring and the most trustable person you’ll ever meet. These things are why she’s so good at her job. She stands by her beliefs with everything she has. She believes that all living things deserve to live. She believes that humans are not prey and that vampires are not predators, although she does acknowledge that most vampires are more heartless and cruel then any human could ever be. Although she comes off to most as materialistic, she’s far from it. She cherishes everything she has and never takes it for granted. She loves to have fun and is often found at bars or clubs dancing around and flirting like any human her alleged age. She tends to come off as easy to manipulate, but this is far from the truth. She’s stubborn, but considers herself rather open-minded to all possibilities and opinions.
However, Charlize’s personality goes deeper than that. Underneath her sweet, fluffy exterior is a scheming, planning, intelligent one-hundred year-old vampire. She is not evil or even close, rather her ambition runs deep. So deep, in fact, that in most cases she will do anything if she thinks it protects or enforces her deep beliefs. She is extremely independent and trusts no-one since her abandonment. She rarely gives out personal information and is never the first one to offer her name. She may seem like the love and peace kind of a girl, but she does not believe true love exists and puts no faith in psychology or the belief that peace will come. She hopes, but she doesn’t think it’ll ever happen. But because she hopes she’s determined to do anything she can to bring peace, despite thinking it futile. She has a way of keeping every wall that’s ever existed around her wall up while simultaneously making you believe she’s letting you in. She’s not afraid to lie when asked personal questions and make it look like she’s telling the truth. [/ul]

[/color] Charlize was born in 1910 to a French mother and a Russian father. The two were deeply in love and were lucky because they were both part of good families, which made it easy to court and marry. The father took the family to Russia, thinking they would be happier there. When Charlize was four years old Russia joined the First World War in order to help France. Her mother was upset that Russia was joining the war, even for France. After all, there is always death in war. Her father, on the other hand, was excited for the war. So much so that he joined the Russian military and was deployed to Germany. By the middle of 1915 two events were happening which directly impacted Char’s life. Firstly was the death of her father, which devastated her mother. The other event was the impact the war was already having on Russia. Food and fuel were becoming scarce and casualties of the war were occurring frequently. Charlize mother was a factory worker and riots were occurring often. It was in one of these riots that Charl’s mother was accidently killed.
At this time Charlize was taken to a small orphanage in Moscow. The conditions were horrible and often children under the age of five didn’t make it more than a few weeks. The younger children were kept in their beds, not allowed to play or run. The older children were in charge of cleaning and taking care of the younger children. On top of that the older children were also expected to work in work houses for nine to twelve hours a day. Their pay went directly to the orphanage, for ‘the child’s care.’ Charlize was, of course, miserable in these conditions. Still, she was determined to survive, even if she didn’t recognize it as such. In 1917 the orphanage began making Charlize do the older children’s work; working, cleaning and caring for the younger charges. When she’d been working for about six months she ran into a man while walking to the factory where she worked. It was four in the morning. She left so early in order to make sure she got there in time. She started at five and it took her an hour to walk the two miles there. She was about a block away from the orphanage when she, quite literally, ran into the man. She apologized and he commented on her sickly looks.
Soon the two became friends and he often walked her to work. This continued for a few weeks. Then he adopted her. Char was eight. She was grateful to get out of the orphanage and was extremely thankful to the man, would have done anything for him. She never saw him during the day, but every night they’d have dinner together, though she began to realize that he never ate anything. And then he’d read to her and put her to bed. She didn’t have to go to the factory anymore. Instead during the day she was tutored. This continued for seven years and the time passed easily, quickly in fact for Charlize. She loved her new life and, although she was curious, she never asked her new father to indulge her curiosity. She feared it would upset him and she didn’t ever want to upset him. When she was fifteen he said that he wanted to show her what he did for a living. Turned out he was a scientist and this explained his absence during the day. He said he was trying to cure a disease. “Are you sick?” She asked. He answered that he was and that she must never mention his illness to anyone, but he didn’t explain the illness or name it.
It was this encounter that ended up being the last straw for Charlize. There were too many things that didn’t add up in her young mind. And her curiosity got the better of her. A few months after the encounter, she went to him, accused him of keeping something from her. He became angry, but she paid his anger no heed, continuing to lay down evidence and accusations. Finally his anger became too much and he slapped her right across the face. She stared at him in shocking before silently leaving. The next night he went to her, gave her a stuffed bear and apologized for his actions. Reluctantly, she forgave him. She didn’t bring it up again. That is until she was eighteen. She was going to a university thanks to his blessing and money. But she refused to take the charity unless he gave her the answers she needed. So, he told her; he was a vampire. Disgusted and outraged she left him, got her own living space and began working in a factory to get the money to go to university herself. This she did for five years. Her living quarters were barely livable and her working conditions were barely tolerable. Her pay wasn’t much more impressive. But she stuck with it. And he watched her, every night; unwilling to let her go. By the time she was twenty-three he could take her conditions no longer. He turned her. Two weeks later, disgusted with herself and him she fled to France where she spent her life up until the year 2010. In January of 2010 she moved to America in search of others of her kind and the answers she never got from him.

She was intrigued by their mission and it appealed to her peaceful side. Therefore she didn’t hesitate to join, subconsciously looking for the family, the bond she’d never had.
