[/color]As PB's ToS states that forum users are to be thirteen years of age or older, we assume that by registering and participating here, you, the member, are of age. We are not held liable for any issues that may arise from the member being underage.

★'Hit and run' accounts (accounts that are created but have no further activity including posting, logging in, activity in the cbox, or changing the display name to the character's name) may be deleted at the admins' discretion if a significant amount of time passes with no activity on the account.

★As stated in the ToS (see here for additional reference), explicit content (including but not limited to: graphic violence and graphic sex) is not allowed on the boards (even threads marked 'M,' NC-17, or hidden/locked boards for explicit content are a violation of the ToS). Writers are capable of writing graphic violence and sex; better writers are capable of implying it in their writing without obscuring the original intent. Please keep this in mind as we will take this rule very seriously.[/ul]

★Keep the OOC drama to PMs or offsite. If the staff notices something's up, we may try to diplomatically intervene and keep everyone happy - at least to the best of our ability.

★Bottom line is, the main priority is to have fun writing dynamic character interactions and storylines. We're looking for chill members, not drama llamas. Act maturely and you'll be treated accordingly. [/ul]

Graphics ★ Rules,

[/color]Avatars can be up to 150x200 pixels, and signatures should not stretch the page. Signatures that do so may be removed by staff.

★Just use common sense concerning the content of your graphics! Please refrain from offensive images and words. 'Offensive' material is left to the discretion of staff.[/ul]

Character ★ Creation,

Hopefully you don't need the Mary Sue lecture, right?

[/color]There is no limit to how many characters you may create, nor any time constraints. However, please try to log into your accounts daily to help us look active!

★Due to the general timeline of our plot here, no character may have been born before the year 1643. Exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis, but will require an outstanding character history and won't be allowed for a member's first character.

★Make sure to claim your celeb if you're using one!

★Register with whatever name you want, but make sure your display name is your character's first and last name; middle names are optional but strongly encouraged. Please use proper capitalization. Try to set this ASAP (preferably right after registration) to help keep the board looking tidy. [/ul]

Roleplay ★ Guidelines,

The usual: don't control others' characters, you're not invincible, etc.

[/color]For IC posts, the minimum word count is 200. We'd much prefer shorter posts with meaningful content over long posts of empty drivel. Also, please maintain proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation to the best of your ability! Everyone makes mistakes, but make an effort!

★If your character changes races (such as a human becoming a werewolf, or an evoker discovering his/her powers), let an admin know so that we can change the character's user group accordingly.

★Pregnancies/births and deaths require permission from an admin. Please double-check to make sure it's okay (and it usually is unless the circumstances behind it are particularly inappropriate/repulsive).

★Please try to discreetly use unsavory content only in 'reference,' if that. Rape, drugs, self-mutilation, etc. ... all these things do happen, but the direct rping of these scenarios is a violation of the ToS and will not be tolerated.[/ul]

C ★Box,

The usual: no spamming, no ads, no excessive swearing, etc.

[/color]Try to refrain from only having one-on-one conversations that discourage and exclude others. This is especially important for getting potential new members involved with us! The cbox is often the first method of contact with them, so try to be as welcoming as you can!

★Feel free to ask questions in the cbox. Help each other out. The admins will try to answer questions ASAP there too.

★You must first have 5 in-character posts on that character's account before you may begin posting in the IC cbox with that character. This rule applies for every new character.[/ul]
