Appearance,
Physically, Rosalie isn't very tall. Why would she be? The girl is only 10 years old. She stands at a height of 4 feet and 6 inches, and she is very thin for someone her age. Typically, children her age would have some sort of baby fat, a healthy sign. However, Rose is very thin with a weight of 67 pounds. Yes, extreamly light for her age though the girl presents herself as very healthy and shows no signs of sickness other than the normal colds a child would get. She may seem very fragile to you, but oddly enough Rosalie has a high tolerance for pain. She would be one of those kids that wouldn't cry if she scrapped her knee, or bumped her head on something.
She is a fairly pretty girl, people figure her to be very attractive once she reaches her teens. The child has long and wavy light brown hair that reaches about her waist. The staff at the orphanage couldn't bare to cut her hair any shorter so they simply trimmed it whenever it seemed to grow too long. The cut is even almost all the way through, with the exception of hair that frames her face falling short to about her shoulders. Rosalie had cut that length when she was experimenting with sissors. Her skin is pale, not not like a sickly pale; she has a nice tan glow that makes her normal looking. For eyes, they are rather strange. Round in shape, her eyes shine a solid crystal blue color that is nearly white or a pale baby blue behind long and thick black lashes. A cluster of grey and green sparks shoot out from around her pupil giving her eyes a very haunting look. However, no matter how haunting the color is-- she can make them seem even more haunting with the innocence that she gives off. An odd combination but it tends to freak people out. Lastly, Rosalie has a small round nose which is normal for a child and full lips that finish off her round facial structure.
Being an orphan, Rosalie isn't much into fashion statements. Besides, she is a child and extreamly adventurous. She is perfectly fine with wearing a pair of jeans, a t-shirt, her converse boots, and some form of a sweater. There is one thing that Rosalie wouldn't leave without and that is a hat. She LOVES hats, you wouldn't see her without one on her head. Her favorite hats tend to be the ones with animal ears attached to them. She's is very young with her sense of fashion...

OVERALL PERSONALITY
Rosalie is the sweetest girl you will ever meet. She is fairly honest, though she would probably lie if she stole a cookie from the cookie jar. Rose loves to be playful and is a very loving girl. The caretakers at the orphanage love her to death and think that she is as cute as can be. Rosalie is well behaved, and likes helping out when someone is in need. The small child can be pretty quiet at times, but once she gets to know a person she can be quiet outgoing. She will show you magic tricks, she loves to play games, and has a strange fascination with barbie dolls....
But that's only part of the story!!
Rosalie is really a sweet girl... when she wants to be. She's a bit of a tom boy that is very manipulative. She loves to play tricks on people and can be quite an evil little girl. Her main focus is on men, she specifically likes older men because she never really had a father figure in her life. However when she's around women and other little girls her age she is EVIL! The pure form of EVIL! She will shave your head off, put you though freak accidents! This girl could very well get you put into a hospital various broken bones. She doesn't play around when it comes to people she likes... which will usually be older men or her gang of rebellious boys. Rosalie is a very good prankster that will act all nice and innocent whenever she is around someone that she's trying to get to love her. That's all she really wants... a father's love. But since women and little girls are mean and evil to men she feels the need to.... punish them, let's say.
But really, Rosalie is a very nice and sweet girl... just when she wants to be. She has things she loves and fears just like any other little girl. However, being that she is an orphan that is usually running away from the orphanage... she hasn't had much of a childhood. You could say that she's very mature for her age. She wants to be strong and independent... actually she is already fairly independent but that is what she wants to be like when she gets older. Weakness makes her angry, so she tried not to be that. The girl has an... interesting personality to say the least.[/ul]

History,
Our story starts with a poor man in Venice, Italy. His name was Jasper and he was a struggling college student. Orphaned himself, he lived with his aunt Maggie in her farmhouse. Life there wasn't exactly glamorous. It was always work and no play... get by not relax. Jasper could tell you that every christmas he would be lucky to get one present to say the least. It wasn't like his aunt wasn't nice... actually she was the nicest. However, with the family's low income there wasn't much to allow but hard work just to put food on the table. Jasper had to work on various fishing boats that crowded the rivers that Venice sat on just to make enough money to get into an art college. Making into that college was the happiest moment of his life... that is until the bills started to pour in. Jasper found himself falling back into the "work hard, get by" lifestyle. He didn't much get close with anyone. This was mostly because the students at the college were... well rich and snooty. He had to pretend to be the same.
His story was that his parents had owned a large fishing industry in Venice. The story was believed since Jasper knew plenty about fishing. However his story had caught the attention of the richest and snootest girl in the school. Her name was Anna and she was... well a bitch. But being that Jasper was easy going he accepted her with open arms like no one else would. Anna and Jasper fell in love, so much in love until Anna found out she was pregnant. Angered, she demanded Jasper give her the money to get an abortion. She figured she was too young for a child and they had only been together for a few months. When Jasper told her the truth-- that he was dirt poor-- she was furious! It turned out that Anna only wanted Jasper for his money. She only pretended to love him so that she could be richer, and pampered, and other nonsense that usually came from rich girls like herself.
Anna left Jasper.
Around 5 months later, three men came by Maggie's farm looking for Jasper. Not knowing what was wrong of course, Maggie brought Jasper to the door. Jasper knew by the looks of them that they had to be Anna's brothers... they looked too much like her to be anyone else. He told Maggie to relax and return to what she was doing while he went outside with the brothers. Outside, Jasper noticed Anna standing by a sleek black car with another man... another brother. She was sobbing and holding onto the boy for support. Jasper frowned, knowing that he caused her this pain. The brother's beat Jasper to the ground, ganging up on him and beating him to the point of a broken arm and a few ribs. Laying on the ground, Jasper watched as Anna's brother's quickly got into the car. When they weren't looking, Anna smiled and blew Jasper a kiss; an evil smirk graced her lips and she quickly returned to her fake sobbing.
He hadn't seen her since.
As the 9 month mark was reached, late in the night there was a loud knocking on the farmhouse door. Maggie had answered it finding a bundle of blankets and a crying baby inside. She brought the child to Jasper who finally allowed himself to cry over his situation. The child was a baby girl with crystal blue eyes like her mother. However her face, her hair, the skin tone, it was all him. The baby girl however, carried a note with only a sentence. There was no name given to the girl, but it said she was born "The 3rd of May." Jasper named his daughter Rosalie, after his deseased mother. So badly did he want to keep Rosalie but being that the family was so poor they wouldn't be able to give her the care that she needed. The better choice for her was to be put into an orphanage.
Jasper had a friend, Presea, who worked in an orphanage that he trusted Rosalie to. Presea promised to find the child a good home. Jasper would visit Rosalie nearly every chance he could get. He wanted a relationship with her. Rosalie was happy to have a father, though once Presea told her what had happened between Jasper and Anna, Rosalie was angry. How could someone be so mean to her daddy? She hadn't understood why, Jasper was such a nice man... Sure he couldn't keep her, but even with her young age she understood why he couldn't. As Rosalie grew older, her hate for women increased with every story her father told her about his new girlfriends. She wanted to protect her daddy from mean women but she couldn't do much from the orphanage.
So one night, she ran away from the orphage and gained information about where her daddy lived. Sure enough, hearing the name Jasper Costa and farmhouse was enough for people to know what Rosalie was talking about. She told them that she lost her daddy and one man was nice enough to offer the girl a ride. Upon reaching the farmhouse, Rosalie ran to the door and knocked furiously, screaming for her daddy. Maggie opened the door, Rosalie's great auntie frail and skinnier than a twig. She seemed weak and her eyes were red from obvious crying. Rosalie didn't understand what could possibly be the matter until she pushed her way into the small livingroom. Her father was laying on the couch. Rosalie ran to him, shacking him and calling his name but he wouldn't wake up. Finally Maggie touched the small 7 year old's shoulder and told her that her father had just passed away from starvation and sickness. She then gave Rosalie a little box, saying it was a present from Jasper.
Rosalie had stared at the little box and looked at her dead father. She was sad, she was angry, and she was scared. "You didn't take care of my daddy!!" she yelled at her great aunt. Hitting the woman with her little fists. Being as fragile as Maggie was, Rosalie actually had the strength to knock the woman over. Maggie pleaded with the 7 year old, claiming that there was no money for food. Rosalie didn't listen, she loved her daddy and this women couldn't take care of him for her. "I hate you!" Rosalie cried, kicking the old woman repeatedly. She then ran away from the house-- not knowing that she had caused her aunt internal bleeding which soon caused her death.
She wanted to be far away from this place, far, far away. So the child sneaked onto a cargo boat that was headed for New York in America. It wa a long trip, but Rosalie managed to steal food and hide fairly well on the boat. However, when time came to docking, Rosalie was discovered. A few member of the crew took Rosalie to the police who then put her into an orphanage in Saint Calais. The orphanage was run by a few members of The Sacred Archive, a faction Rosalie didn't understand or know about really. They tought her a lot of things, trying to influence the children to have a desire to learn like the rest of the Sacred Archive. Being in this orphanage, Rosalie earned herself a reputation of being a saint. She was a sweet little girl nearly all of the time. She was even lucky enough to be adopted a few times. However, she was always brought back to the orphanage because of "accidents" (no! she didn't kill them, just random accidents like getting them hurt in some way or another) with the foster mothers. Rosalie would only claim that "she was being mean to daddy..."
