In full view, Namine is probably one of the tiniest girl's you will ever see in your life. She's very thin, yes, not to mention she's not the tallest either. Often times, Namine is mistaken for a child. Though she is 17 she can be mistakened for roughly 14 or 15 years old. However despite the fact that she is very tiny, don't let this fool you, she is perfectly toned to the apperance of a dancer. There is not much of a definement in her muscle toning-- like if she were a fighter-- but the muscles are smoothed out, and appear every now and then when being used. And even though she's not too tall, she had very long lims. You can say that Namine seems to radiate an innocence that is pretty abnormal for a human. Her skin is pale, a very faint coloring of peach from her blood. However she always seems to be glowing because of this color, nothing supernatural but a normal pre-wedding glow. All and all, she seems to resemble the innocence of a child.
Up close, the innocence seems to be the main idea of her face. Ontop of her head, long and wavy auburn curls fall to roughly the middle of her waist. It is her natural hair color and she tends to embrace it because she thinks it's rather unique. Up front the hair is cut short for bangs that side sweep over her eyes and rest on the thick frame of extreamly long and spikey black lashes that seem to show off the most abnormal part about her. Minty green colored eyes, so cool that they seem icy, around surrounded by the frame of spikey lashes, as if being portraied like a painting. The cool mint eyes seem to have a soft glow to them just like her skin-- the reality of the fact is they just absorb light perfectly (hence why Namine landed a photography internship and modling job). Last but not least, a small nose leads to full pale pink lips to finish off Namine's delicate and innocent apperance. [/ul]

OVERALL PERSONALITY
Namine's gentle personality has come about because of how she was raised. Having a wiccan mother and a clairevoyant father tended to just have that effect on their children. Over the years she had learned to respect other people because there was no telling what they could be capiable of bringing to the table. It was a good concept to live by. What if someone was going to make the cure for cancer and you were horrible to them? How would it feel knowing that you had hurt the feelings of someone who saved lives? Namine took in interest in the wiccan lifestyle with her mother, which further developed her kind heart.
On the positive side of things, Namine is a very innocent person. She can be described as one of those girls that wouldn't hurt a fly. Namine is definatly the lover and not the fighter. Personally she would rather handle a situation by talking about it-- though even with that she doesn't seem like the person that would ever raise her voice. She can be pretty submissive would be the point made when you think of Namine. She's a very friendly person that would never judge, would always listen, keep your secrets, and most of all she would always have you in mind whenever you're together. Namine hardly ever thinks of her own wellbeing unless she's alone. Normally she would be helping other people with their problems or making other people happy. It stresses her out but she can't stop doing it, she just has a huge and caring heart.
On the negitive side of things, these are just traits Namine can't seem to help. She trusts people WAAAAAAY too easily, almost so easily it's like she doesn't seem to understand that there are people in the world that you just can't put your trust in. People tend to take advantage of her because of this. It's also one of the many reasons that danger seems to be attracted to her like a magnet. Namine ALWAYS gets into some sort of trouble. Weather it's walking in at the wrong time in some drama at school or whatever-- she can't seem to escape it-- it will ALWAYS FIND HER. Namine is also pretty shy, even though she is so kind hearted and such she doesn't seem to speak very much or voice her opinions.

History,
Constanta, Romanian-- the third largest and one of the most beautiful cities in Romania. Rumored to have been connected with the Greek legends, Constanta is a city full of adventures. One of these adventures lies in the history of one Aster De Luca and one Juliet Arcos. The two were young artists at Anamaria Avram-- a university in Romania. Aster came from a rich family, well known for owning a bank and their high status with famous Romanians (not to mention the fact that the mayor at the time was Aster's uncle). He was well known for his talent in photography and painting and favored amoung the students. Juliet on the other hand, did not come from a rich family. She was born as a farm girl on the outskirts of Constanta with her father who urged her to make better for herself so she wouldn't live poor. Juliet's mother had died when she was 3 and she never knew much about the woman. One would think the relationship between herself and her father would be good-- well it was... until he found out she was going to college for dancing. He was completely disappointed in her but she still went aganist him and went to persue her dreams. In school, Juliet was the source of all danger, trouble, and drama. She was the outcast and people tended to pick on her because she was so tiny and innocent looking-- not to mention a poor farm girl.
One day, Aster had protected her from some bullying-- some guy trying to rape her outside of school grounds one weekend. The two had been together ever since. They were best friends and seen everywhere together. Everyone thought that they were dating until Juliet met Matthew Dimir. He seemed like the angry type, someone with problems. Juliet had thought that she could make him a better person-- and in fact she loved him to some degree. The two had dated for a good 2 months before things started getting strange. Juliet and Aster threw Matthew a party for his birthday in Matthew's dorm. As the party ragged on, Matthew had taken Juliet to his room for some privacy. However things had gone wrong from there. Matty argued with Juliet, claiming that she was being unfaithful to him with Aster. It hadn't been true, honestly the two were like brother and sister and had only kissed once-- but that was an accident on Juliet's part... she was clumsy. The arguing had carried on until Juliet told Matty she loved him-- however he wanted her to prove it by giving up her virginity. When she refused, he raped her.
Afterwards, Juliet threatened to turn him in. Matty had other plans in mind. He pulled Juliet towards his balcony in attempts to kill her by throwing her over the edge. The two struggled for a bit before Aster had come in and saw them. To protect Juliet, Aster shoved Matty away, which ultimatly caused Matty to fall over instead. He died-- and ever since Juliet was tied to Aster forever. That moment made them discover their love for each other despite what had happened. They told each other everything including the fact that Aster was a medium. Life seemed strangely perfect after Matty's death... of course Juliet was sad but the events that had occured before it had been what helped her to get over the truth. Life became so perfect in fact that the two got married before their graduation. It wasn't long before the couple moved out into the country and later gave birth to their first child-- a boy they named Adrian.
Adrian was a beautifully healthy boy with his father's black hair and cool grey eyes like fresh ice on a lake. Growing up he took interest in fighting more than the art his parents favored. However, Juliet and Aster supported Adrian either way because they considdered fighting an art form anyways. As time passed and Adrian reached age 5, Juliet and Aster gave birth to another child. They had a daughter and they named her Namine. Namine was the complete opposite of her brother. She didn't inherit her father's dark hair and grey eyes like Adrian had. Instead, she resembled her mother-- aburn colored hair that waved ontop of her little head. Adrian loved his sister more than anything, taking care of her and always making sure that she was well. That was espically so when something was discovered about his baby sister.
Namine was sick.
She wasn't born healthy like her brother, in fact her immune system didn't develop much to a strong point either. Namine was diagnosed with Immune Deficiency when she was 3. Growing up, nearly every week Namine would get sick, so sick that it would be painful most of the time. It pained her family to know that their daughter could be subject to death at some point too soon in her life. Namine didn't let this get her down though. As she grew up, she persued dance like her mother and also turned out to be a talented singer. Namine lived her young life taking up photography as her hobby and trying to be as happy as possible-- even on the days that she would fall ill. Adrian would be around her every step of the way, making sure her sister never got hurt. The family put Namine under home schooling as a way of keeping her safe from anything that would cause too much harm on their daughter's body.
But the Immune Deficency wasn't the only thing they had to worry about. What they had to worry about was the pressence that Namine had discovered in her room one night... she was 9 years old and Adrian 14.
Namine woke in the night from a horrible nightmare-- one she didn't quite remember as she woke up. All that she could remember was someone screaming her name and a huge blaze of fire. That was when Namine had seen a strange man in her room-- leaning aganist the wall with his arms crossed and smiling evily. Namine had screamed, which caused Adrian to come into the room-- he saw the man too and instantly tried to protect Namine from him-- but Adrian was no match for the man... Adrian couldn't even touch him. That reason was because the man was a ghost...
And that ghost was Matthew Dimir.
Matty laughed at the children and waved as if saying goodbye... that's when the fire started. Matty's laughter had echoed through the house, starting fires all over the house. Adrian had acted fast, grabbing young Namine and holding her on his back as he ran to get to their parents. However it had been too late... their room was set a blaze... screams echoing from the inside calling out to children named Adrian and Namine. Angered, Adrian took Namine to escape the fire smothered house... Matty wasn't going to let them live either. He attacked Adrian, causing the children to fall-- Namine arm being stabbed by glass from the coffee table. Adrian had fought with Adrian for what seemed like forever, Namine didn't remember much of it because after that while the smoke caused her weak body to pass out.
Later, Namine woke to see their burned down home... burned completely to the ground. They're parents were dead and their home was gone. It was this event that the De Luca children discovered they were clairevoyant.. half like their father, who was full medium. The children were later found by the Constanta police, apparently a neighbor had called in about the fire. Adrian and Namine were put in the care of their aunt Helena and uncle Soren who lived in Versailles, France. Soren was Juliet's older brother, who hated Aster because of what he was. To find out that both Adrian and Namine had inherited their father's "curse" he decided to hate the young children as well... treating them like slaves in the house. Helena however was more sympathetic towards the children, especially since Namine was sickly. However life in the house wasn't nice... in fact it was awful. Sometimes Helena would take Soren's side and neglect the children... other times Soren would flat out yell at them till the sun went down.
Now, Namine is 17 and still living with her auntie and uncle in Saint Calais, New York. Adrian, now 22, decided to stay with them because of Namine until he got the money to move out and take Namine with him. Life had become very different than the dream life they had in Romania. Adrian lost in interest in fighting, only using it when fights with uncle Soren got out of hand. Namine had decided to hold onto her talents, and eventually took up modeling as her new hobby with being a photography intern as her job. She wanted to keep her talents in honor of her parents... it was the least she could do for them.
And as if weirder things hadn't been happening lately-- it seemed Adrian had developed a different sort of love for his sister... a sinful and very dangerous obsession...
