Marjorie Sinclair Cooper
Gender: female
Age/DOB: 26 - July 2nd, 1986
Occupation: graduate student working on doctorate dissertation in instrumental performance for Boston Conservatory, but gives private lessons out of her home in Saint Calais on the side
Race:half-lycan
Appearance;
Marjorie’s complexion has never been too dark, but yet it has never been considered pale. As a child, she spent a majority of her time in the sun and, as she got older and became more focused on her studies, she traded her tanned skin for a more subtle tone as her time in the practice rooms of the Boston Conservatory increased.
Her hair is a dirty blonde and comes down past her shoulders. Normally she wears her hair down, but the thickness of her golden tresses sometimes calls for her to pin the locks up, especially during the summer.
Though not the tallest person, Marjorie does stand at 5’8”. She is well toned and keeps herself in fair shape and gets most of her exercise from running with her border collie, Cash. Her ears are pierced as well as her belly button, which she got during a rebellious phase that she went through during her undergraduate years.
Marjorie is not obsessed with the way that she looks, but she does appreciate being presentable. She tends to dress rather casually. Her clothing style alternates with the weather. Seldom does she dress to impress and she’s not a fashionista nor does she aspire to be one. She will wear whatever she’s handed and be okay with it, but that does not mean she dresses sloppily. Her private lessons wardrobe sticks to a lot of thin sweaters, cardigans, and knee-length dresses. However, her casual attire is simple and nothing too extravagant. Her closet consists of jeans, shorts, three-quarter length shirts, and comfortable blouses, all of which accent her grayish green eyes.
Personality;
From the lifestyle she was exposed to growing up, Marjorie was always taught to be polite and respectful of others. As a child, her single mother raised her to be obedient and sincere. Once she discovered more about herself as she grew, her respectful nature began to fade and all but diminished once she moved away to college. Whereas she had been quiet and withdrawn growing up, she became progressively arrogant and dauntless, facing anything head on without a second thought. She blames that on the small amount of lycanthropy that courses through her veins.
She does not let people in too easily and has an issue with trust. Over the years she has built a strong wall that serves as her barrier and she has only let it down to allow two or three people in. Though she is not a saint, she is certainly not a fraud nor has she ever tried to be somebody who she is not. She has skeletons in her closet and has faced her demons from the past, but that does not render her fake.
Marjorie is exceedingly hard on herself. She had hated her father from the get-go because he had left her mother at a young age and pregnant. When she discovered that he was a lycanthrope, however, her anger turned to rage. Knowing that she was partially a werewolf - one of the creatures that her uncle had taught her to hunt and kill - turned her world upside down. Even though she was one of them, she continued to seek out supernaturals. Her conscience is catching up with her, however, because she feels that it is unfair to allow them to die while she continues to live.

History;
Marjorie grew up in a single-parent home. She had a normal childhood filled with playing outside until the sun set, participating in school plays, hosting tea parties with imaginary friends, and helping her mom with chores around the house. Despite the absence of her father, who had left before she was born, she grew up happy. That was until her mother became ill and was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease. Things moved swiftly from then on, and it broke Marjorie’s heart to know that there was nothing she could do to assist her mother.
At the age of fourteen, Marjorie moved in with her uncle, Jason Cooper, after her mother was emitted into an assisted living home. It was then that she was first exposed to the existence of the supernatural realm that plagued Boston. Her uncle brought her up to speed on the oddities that were haunting the city and taught her everything he knew about the different races that were out there tarnishing society. Though a slow learner at first, Marjorie quickly prepared herself to face any supernatural being that came her way. By the time she was eighteen, she had assisted her uncle rack up the bodies, the death toll rising to an immense number.
But Marjorie traded her blades and rock salt for books and 2,000-word papers after she graduated from high school. She had watched her uncle suffer for too long as the supernaturals repeatedly came up against him, and she made a promise that she would never let herself get to the point where she was so consumed in finding and killing those different from her like her uncle had. Though she continued to live at home with Jason, she attended the Berkley College of Music in search of a degree in piano performance. She sat on the sidelines as her relative continued to go after ghosts and vampires, lycans and clairvoyants. Eventually it got to the point where she did not want to be around the nonsense anymore, and she applied for a graduate program at the Boston Conservatory. She moved off to continue her studies, leaving her uncle at home to fend for himself. She received her masters degree within two years and began working on her doctorate.
Two months after her courses were finished and she prepared to work on her dissertation, she received a phone call from a local hospital with the news of the Jason’s death. Troubling enough, her uncle’s death did not impact her much. She had warned him many times that he was meddling in business that he had no reason being around. Though she did feel guilty, she had no remorse for his passing. She sold his home and moved herself to Saint Calais with the intention of finishing her dissertation while running her own piano studio out of her new home. Little did she know that moving to the town was the worst choice she could make.
After one of her piano students’ lessons, Marjorie was approached by the child’s parent. The woman, a respected medium in the area, could sense the angered spirits of those supernaturals Marjorie had participated in killing. Marjorie was extremely skeptical at first, insisting that the woman had no idea what she was talking about. However, when the medium began to speak about her father, Marjorie’s attention was snagged. The woman proceeded to tell her that it was unfair and hypocritical that Marjorie had willingly killed those who possessed uncanny abilities like herself. It was from the psychic that Marjorie learned about her biological father and how he had been a lycan. She promptly discontinued the piano lessons with that family, but even without the contact between herself and the medium, the graduate student became increasingly burdened by her heritage. Self loathing reared its ugly head and Marjorie blamed her bastard of a father for the situation she was in now. Aware of the supernatural activity in Saint Calais, Marjorie postponed her doctorate dissertation and began to hunt once more, fueled by the anger and hatred geared at her father and her own self confliction about whether or not it is sinful to go on killing those in the realm that she herself belongs in.
