Geneviève Michèle Amour
Gender: Female
Age/DOB: 25 / December 13, 1985
Occupation: Waitress at "Francois' La Petite Diner"
Race: Medium
Appearance;
Geneviève is a rather compelling looking girl when she wants to be. She h gorgeous long black hair and intriguing silver eyes. Her skin is pale most of the winter, though during the summer, she gets a nice light tan. Not all that dark but enough to tell that she had been in the sun. She isn't very tall, only standing at about five foot four. She weighs about one hundred and thirty one pounds. She blushes easily so her cheeks seem to almost always be a bright red. When she isn't blushing, though, they are a soft pink.
Gen often times wears make up to work. She just loves making herself look as pretty as she can and, for her, that means she has to wear make up. She doesn't really know the true beauty that lies within her and often times thinks herself as 'not pretty enough'. She doesn't wear make up in abundance like a lot of other girls would. Just a little to make herself feel better about herself.
As for her fashion sense, Geneviève feels that she has stupendance fashion. She loves to look her best when she is going out, though she has little to work with. She does have quite a few nice outfits that she mix and matches in order to look her nicest. She usually does her hair in nice up do's or waves when she leaves it out. When she is at home, though, she can relax. She tends to wear just sweats or boy shorts and t-shirts, her hair in a messy bun. She doesn't see the point of looking as nice as usual when she isn't really doing much of anything.
Personality;
Geneviève can be extremely shy, tending to stutter when nervous, and she seems to get nervous a lot. The littlest of things seems to set her off into stutter mode. And, without the help of a trusty cup of
She is quite judgemental of herself, mostly the fault of her rude older 'brothers' and the kids at her school. Her self esteem isn't the very best and she knows it. The only people she does seem to get along with, though, are those that are already dead. Spirits and ghosts can't count for much, though, when it comes to trying to make friends that are among the living.
She loves talking with ghosts, though. They seem to be the only people ( if they are even considered people) that she can talk to with out fuss. Most of the ghosts that live in her apartment with her seem to be none judgemental, and she likes that. Sadly, it was also because of her ability to talk to ghosts (and with ease for that matter) that made her the laughing stock of her school. When she was younger, and didn't know that she was talking to ghosts, she would talk and talk and talk. everyone else thought ishe was crazy because of it. she has learned better (somewhat) since then, though.
Geneviève has a love for the ghostly world, they understand her (somewhat) and she understands them (about just as much). Of course, she loves coffee, and even more rainbows. And, of course, she loves to daydream. And she loves her cat, Midnight. there isn't much she doesn't like, aside from her looks.

History;
Geneviève was born to parents that were unknown to her, well, that she didn't really remember at least. They had died when she was very young and was sent to and adoption center. She never liked the center, all the kids were just so mean to her. they picked on her like she was any worse off than they were. because of this, she usually remained quiet. She spent only a couple of years there, thankfully. And by the time she was five, she was adopted. though, sometimes she wondered if being adopted was the best thing for her.
Her adoptive parents weren't exactly around all that often. They would rather be working at all hours of the day than be near their children. Why they had adopted her to begin with was beyond her. She much prefered the scrutiny of other children than being alone. Though she wasn't always alone. she had two older 'brothers'. But they were no better than the children that had bullied her her entire time at the center. It wasn't too long after she turned six that people started calling her 'Crazy Gen'. She didn't know that she was talking to ghosts then. she just thought that she had finally made some friends. but of course, why would it be that simple?
It took her quite a few years to realize what was really going on. She was talking to ghosts! Spirits that had died and stayed on earth! She was quite shocked at first, but slowly she was able to come to terms with her gift. She didn't know what she was. Didn't have her parents there to tell her that she was a medium. But, somehow, she knew deep inside what she was.
As the years went by, her brothers seemed to bully her more and more. School was worse than home. And the only seclusion she had was when she locked herself in her room and talked to her ghosts. She loved talking to them and were always there when she needed someone to cry to.
It was no shock to her family when she moved out on her eighteenth birthday. Geneviève's 'parents' gave her enough money to go out and find a nice apartment. It was the only thing the bastards had ever done for her. She didn't spend most of it. Opting to get a small apartment in a building that she sensed had a variety of ghosts. She spents most of the money on cheap furniture for her new home.
She had gotten her job about two weeks after she ahd moved out and has been moderately happy ever since. She doesn't know her true potential as a medium, doesn't even know that that is what she is called. But she moves through life, day by day, happy to have her ghostly friends there for her.
