History;
Peter Thomas Maddoxx was born April 16, 1990 to Lisa and Robert Maddoxx in Abbyville, Kansas. After Pete had turned two years old, the Robert and Lisa had another child, a girl named Lydia. It didn’t bother little Pete that the attention was taken from him. Instead, he seemed to be more curious than anything about baby Lydia.
As a child Pete was very sickly and got ill extremely easily. At nine years old, he was diagnosed with asthma, so he had to start carrying an inhaler around with him during school and after school activities. This was one of the many things that caused Pete to get teased in his elementary school. Even at a young age, though, he had already begun to develop a thick skull and thick skin to match. So despite the bullying, Pete was convinced that everyone wanted to be his friend.
In his first year of middle school, Robert convinced him to join the community soccer team, despite him not being at all athletic. He made many friends while he was on that team (or so he says), but he was such a bad player that he was very rarely ever put in to play. Pete became an expert and kicking the ball back into play, though. Unfortunately, this was the only thing he was ever good at in soccer.
At thirteen years old, his music teacher convinced him to start studying piano (as he was very bad at singing) and he found that he liked it. According to him, he was a natural pianist, but it actually took him a lot of practice that he wasn’t willing to admit to in order for him to succeed.
After Pete turned fourteen years old and he was finished with his eighth grade year, Robert got a promotion, but the job took place at a completely different part of the country. Pete seemed perfectly fine with the movie as he didn’t have too many close friends, so he wasn’t that attached to anyone. He was a little upset about having to leave his music teacher, whom he adored.
The summer between Pete’s eighth grade year and his freshman year of high school, the family up and moved to Saint Calais, Massachusetts, where Robert began his new job. Pete began school at D’Artagnan High School, where he really blossomed. He still had a small problem with bullying, but by then, he had developed such a tough skin and high self-esteem that it didn’t even faze him. One of the music teachers in the school encouraged Pete to compete in one of the district music competitions that occurred each spring. He also became very involved in other aspect of the music department at the high school, where he played for the musicals and people that needed accompanists.
After he graduated high school, he continued on to a community college where he took all of his general education classes and some electives for a few years. During this time, he took up a part time teaching/cashier job at a music store called George’s Music Shop, where he met genuine friends. After he was done at the community college, he was accepted to Saint Calais University under a music scholarship, studying piano performance.
