In the time before humans had come to Pimento, Vampires roamed the land. They lived as we do now and were peaceful, civilised beings. They never had to hide their identity and so they had nothing to fear or hide away from. Their diet was a special elixir quite identical to human blood and they could also live in the sunlight without being harmed. Humans landed on Pimento and war broke loose. The humans had taken over the Vampire’s home and wiped out the Vampire race – Or so they thought. A handful of vampires had managed to safely hideaway in fear of being destroyed
Many centuries had passed since the humans claimed Pimento as their own and the vampires were thought to be extinct. The elixir was lost for good and the vampires that still remained had adapted to the darkness. They thought the time had come to resurface and take back their land either by reason or by force. Half of the remaining vampires still wished for a peaceful existence while the other talk wanted to fight for their home, this lead the splitting of the group into two clans, The Enforcers, The vampires who wished for a forceful take over to reclaim what was once theirs and the Peacemakers, those who wished for a peaceful co-existence....
