Eighteen years ago.
The Madison group... a group of some very powerful supernatruals. They gathered some expecting parents and genetically modified their babies. Why? They want to become the most powerful supernaturals in existence. They modified genes in hopes of causing their powers to come in with more power than the normal supernatural. They promised the soon to be parents one thing... the modifications would make the powers come in easier than normal. They promised that, during puberty when powers start coming in, their lives would be better. They lied.
The babies are and were used as experiments. The parents, at the time, believed Madison knew exactly what they were doing.
2012
All of them are between fourteen and eighteen. While the majority of the experiments have failed, few have been successful. Some of them have no power, some have little and the others have too much. The uncontrollable powers are harder to deal with.
The parents are hurt and angry, so they threatened anything to get the group to do something. Madison reluctantly made a group home called Carlisle House. The experiments have been forced to move in. There, they will be taught, schooled and monitored. They told the parents they would take them in long enough to help them with their powers and even hold classes. The parents agreed to let them go until they're well enough to come home. Madison lied. Again. They want to keep them, medicate them and then terminate them. They plan to terminate all failed experiments. Each parent will be told that their body couldn't handle they modifications.
For now, the experiments are safe. They are being medicated through food to see if their powers can be stopped or restarted. Neither the teenagers nor parents know about this.
Mia James is a failed experiment with uncontrollable powers. She's the newcomer in Carlisle. Will she be able to find the truth within all the lies? And if she does, will she be able to escape with the other teens? The Omega Project might have to run for their lives.
There are other experiments that aren't in Carlisle House. They don't know they've been genetically modified nor do their parents. Madison group just monitors them. They are just like the others. Failed and Successful. They are called the Zenus Project.6
